How many of us are guilty of running out of the house in the morning and forgetting to eat?Or do not have "time" to cook breakfast? Overnight oats are a personal favorite and also it is so easy and great for all of us that are in a rush every morning! I do not get much time in the morning since I wake up so early for clients, therefore I love making these at night and just grabbing them to-go in the morning! I believe they are going to come in so handy when they baby arrives! We can't skip breakfast..it's the most important meal of the day!
They are great for the energy we all need in the A.M.; especially those of us that are on a no-caffeine diet! 😩 (Anything for the little guy right? lol) I love all the ingredients and the great part about the recipe is you can change it and make it your own! It doesn't have to be a certain way! I am always changing mine and adding or subtracting different ingredients! Some of it may be trial and error but most the time they all taste amazing! I make my mine enough for two to three mornings ahead, so that they stay fresh. I store them in glass jars that you can buy pretty much anywhere! Even the dollar store has them!
Fact: Storing food in glass containers is better than storing food in plastic ones! It is less harmful to the food you are storing because glass does not contain any harmful chemicals that can leach into food!
1/2 cup dry oats uncooked
1/2 cup non-fat vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup fresh berries
